On February 25, 2025, the Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies, with the presence of the President of Zakho University, Dr. Nazim Suleiman and the Dean of the College of Human Sciences, P.H. Dafakher Hassan celebrated the International Mother Language Day. The event featured guest speakers Dr. Abdulwahab Khalid and Dr. Bayiz Omar, under the theme "Our Language is Our Identity."
At the same time, three new publications were discussed and released by the head of the Central Research Center Dr. Abdul Salam Najmaddin.
